Filemaker api download pdf from container field
I'm testing the integration with the Dropbox API, I would like to download a pdf or image (jpg, tiff, etc.) file into a container field. I can upload a photo to dropbox but having issues with downloading a photo to a container field. I referenced the FileMaker Forever Dropbox Integration Example but was not able to replicate the example. A container field can store photos, movies, sounds, documents, including Microsoft Word and Excel files, PDF files, and so on. The way you insert the data determines how you see and interact with the data in the container field: Insert a picture: Choose Insert menu Picture. FileMaker Pro displays the picture in the container field. · To display PDFs: Add a container field to the layout. Go to layout mode. Select the container field then go to the “Data” tab in the inspector and select “Interactive content”. I have a container field that stores a PDF file and I want to be able to view that container WITHIN Filemaker without the user having to export it. Is this possible?
